EMBE Infographic
CHALLENGE
Working with the media agency Lemonly, I was tasked to create an infographic for EmBe, which is an organization in Sioux Falls, SD, that supports women and families with programs like child care. The source material was dense and contained a lot of information, and I had to find a way to highlight the most important points while still maintaining legibility and balance in the design. The client also requested a “circle graphic” showing diversity that could be used on their website.
SOLUTION
I designed the information by section, using organic shapes to lead the eye down the graphic and highlighting important notes in shadow boxes. We chose a sage green to work with the client’s pink and purple colour palette, and the characters showcase different skin tones.
